Can one Pylon-Monitor read a US3000C master with four chained US2000C (5 batteries or more)?

Yes. One Pylon-Monitor plugged into the master's Console port reads every battery in the chain — up to 16 — and shows each one individually, with no error. Mixed models (US3000C + US2000C) are fine, and every cell of every battery is shown.

Is Pylon-Monitor compatible with Pylontech H48074 high-voltage modules behind an SC0500 controller?

Yes, since firmware 2.8, on generation 2 and the Lite: the device reads high-voltage packs driven by a controller such as the SC0500 through its Console port, and detects the high-voltage pack by itself. The support was built from real controller readings, but an H48074 has not yet been connected to a Pylon-Monitor.

Does Pylon-Monitor work with an SC0500 controller and 7 × H48050 behind it?

Yes, since firmware 2.8 (generation 2 and Lite): H48050 modules behind an SC0500 controller are read through the controller's Console port, with nothing to configure — state of charge, voltage, current, temperatures, every module and every cell, alarms and status.

Mixed US2000 and US3000 of different years — does it work, also on an iPad, and what else do I need?

Yes: mixed Pylontech models and ages are read individually, since the device adapts to each battery's own console output. The dashboard runs in any browser, including Safari on an iPad, with no app. You only need a USB power source — the Console cable and the USB cable are included.

Is the Pylontech UP5000 compatible, with 5 batteries and Home Assistant?

Yes. The UP5000 has the same low-voltage Console (RS-232) port and console protocol as the supported US5000 and UP2500. One Pylon-Monitor on the master's Console port reads all five batteries individually, and Home Assistant works through MQTT auto-discovery or a REST sensor.
