Mixed US2000 and US3000 of different years — does it work, also on an iPad, and what else do I need?

Mixed models and years: yes. Every Pylontech battery with a low-voltage Console port speaks the same console protocol, and the device finds each value by its column name rather than by a fixed position — so a newer BMS firmware that adds columns, or an older unit laid out differently, is still read correctly. Each battery is shown on its own, and the combined state of charge is weighted by each battery's capacity.

iPad: yes. The dashboard is a web page served by the device itself, so it works in Safari on an iPad, as on any phone, tablet or computer on your network. There is no app to install.

What you need: the RJ45 Console cable and the USB cable are in the box. You only add a USB power source — a phone charger (5 V) is ideal.
