I have 15 Pylontech batteries of mixed models, and when I connect them all only the first 9 start. Can I make a single stack with a single Pylon-Monitor?

Short answer

Nine batteries is 1 master + 8 slaves, the limit of older US2000 batteries without the "C": in a mixed stack, the oldest model sets the limit. Either make two groups with one Pylon-Monitor each, or keep one stack of recent models.

Hello, I currently have 15 Pylontech batteries: 1 US5000, 2 US3000C, 6 US2000C and 6 US2000. When I connect them all together (master and slaves), only the first 9 start. Is there a trick to have just one stack, and just one Pylon-Monitor?

The 9 batteries that start are 1 master + 8 slaves. This is the limit of older US2000 batteries without the "C": in a mixed stack, the oldest model sets the maximum number of batteries per group. Unfortunately there is no way around this limit on the battery side.

Two options. Make two groups, each with its own master, connected to the inverter through a Pylontech LV-HUB or two BMS ports if your inverter has them: the Pylon-Monitor reads one group through its master's Console port, so you need one device per group. Or keep a single stack with the recent models (US5000, US3000C, US2000C, so 9 batteries): one Pylon-Monitor is enough and reads every battery and every cell.
